Dear Joe and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I only met her a few times and talked to her at Moon's funeral but listening to you on the radio and growing up listening to Moon it seems like I knew you all well.
I have lost both my parents too but I have comfort in knowing that they are in Heaven in God's loving arms and I know that is where your mom is now with your father.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Christy and all the family. You have my deepest sympathy.

Joe and family-What a blessing, you had, a mother so dear. A woman that stood tall in her believes in the Lord. Bob and I remember her with lovely memories. A mother holding her son as a small infant. We send our love. We know she has joined her husband with our heavenly father. I know you have comfort with that. Love to you and family

Joe, I thought your mother was as good a person as I have ever known. She reminded me so much of my own family I just felt like I was home whenever I would talk to her.

God bless you and Tammy and the rest of your family.
The pain of your loss will pass and you will have the wonderful memories of your mother forever.

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. I never got to meet the lady, but it is good to know she had within her the love of God and is now pain free in His presence. I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. God bless you all.

Joe and Family,

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. When she worked at Sears, we would take time to talk about family, canning and what was going in our lives. I tried to keep up with you through your mother. She was such a sweet person and was always so proud of her children. I remember when you brought me pickles to school she had made because you thought they were the best! She always got a chuckle out of that.
I'm now taking care of my 93 year old mother who had a bad stroke 4 years ago. I understand what it is to work through a family illness. I send prayers and love to all of you. I wish I could be there for visitation, but don't have anyone to take care of Mother in the evenings.
Continue to be a blessing to us through your radio station.

A few weeks after joining Classic Country Radio I met Prudence when she came to the station while I was on the air. She greeted me with that warm smile that made you feel
you had always known her.
I'd been joking on air about an Uncle back in Kentucky who was best known for his prowess at emptying bottles
of Bourbon. Prudence said,"now that's us country people.
We put it all out on the front porch for the world to see
like it or not."
The world came to really love everything they found on
Prudence's porch. She might have been Moon's famous
War Department on occasion and in jest, but she was a wonderful lady to me, and the thousands who came to know her.
May God Bless Prudence, and then Mullins family.

Joe and Christy,
Your mother was a wonderful lady and I would like to send my prayers to you and the family. I have a memory of working in the studio while she was in the CD connection. I was playing songs and sticking with the theme for mothers because it was Mother's Day weekend and she came in the studio with a request. She asked me to play a song that Joe had written when he was in his teens. Joe you were on a tour and we were expecting the tour bus anytime so she and I both prayed and hoped you didn't have the radio on listening because she said you might be upset with us. I guess you weren't listening or you didn't get upset as she was afraid you would be. She laughed till she had tears in her eyes but seriously, I think the tears were from the pride she had in her heart. She was a sweetheart and will greatly be missed. She is now with Moon and the earthly pain is no more, just know she will never leave you. Heaven has another angel to watch over your family. God bless each of you.

So sad to hear of this, and I know what the family is going through. I lost my mother 10 years ago.She was also from the great state of Ky, and a very good cook.I did not know Mrs.Mullins but she was a mother, and I know the feelings the children are going through.I was so very sad of reading this, and pray for her family.I know she had to be a very nice person. I can see it in her smile. May God be with you all through this.God Bless you all.

Prude was more like a sister to me than a sister-in- law. I will always remember how she wanted me to get in that hospital bed with her during our last visit with her. i was so afraid i would hurt her. But she insisted over our protests and scooted herself over and I crawled up beside her. And her wonderful prayer. She prayed for us, not herself. She knew she was ok with her Lord and where she was going. It did my heart so much good to see such faith. I loved her so and will keep her family in my prayers.

Aunt Prud was such a sweet and thoughtful person. After my dad (Merle) passed, she would remember to call me on my birthday (February 4) because Dad would call her every year on her birthday. I'm sure Dad was waiting to give her a big hug and kiss and they are watching over all of us! I'm so sorry for your loss. May the Lord wrap His arms around you and comfort you during this time. We were all so blessed to have her in our lives!

What a beautiful lady, inside and out! My Mom was so strong and courageous, and God's grace surrounded her throughout her battle with breast cancer. What a blessing to have her for my 47 years, and have her smile, wit and tough Kentucky attitude help her stare cancer in the face and stay strong for her family and friends every step of the way. She never complained or questioned, just grew closer to God until He received her in Paradise yesterday. Thanks to all of our family and friends who loved her, prayed for her, encouraged and cherished her. Please, share your fond memories. God Bless you, Joe Mullins
