Lester's Obituary

Lester Kilburn, age 88, of Franklin, OH; died Monday June 18, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. Lester was born in Beattyville, KY on April 5, 1924 to Arthur and Mattie (Seals) Kilburn. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army and was a POW in Germany. Lester retired from Chrysler in 1981 following 30 years of service and was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Lester was preceded in death by his wife Valory; 2 brothers Everett Lee and Raymond Kilburn; a sister Elizabeth Palmer He is survived by a son Michael Kilburn and wife Janet; 4 daughters Charlotte Aulman and husband Steve, Virginia Watts and husband Larry, Patricia Miller and husband Mike, and Hester Cook and husband Larry; a brother Parnell Kilburn; 2 sisters Gertrude Cates, and Clara Woodruff, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services are Saturday at 10am at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev. Larry Lambes officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill with full military honors.
