Lillie Evelyn Graham, 89 of Franklin, Ohio, passed away on January 19, 2012 at Carlisle Nursing Home in Carlisle, Ohio. Evelyn was born on April 6, 1922 in Casey County, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her parents Marietta (1992) and Robert Watson (1968); her husband Harold Graham (2010); son, Gary Mayer (2011); sister Lola Lanham (1982); sister Lela Juniper (1999). She is survived by her sister Ethel Morris (husband Earl) of Lebanon, Ohio; her sisters Ivadean Short and Christine Moore of Liberty, Kentucky; sister Lois Black (husband Hoy) of Loveland, Ohio; her brothers Eugene Watson (wife Lucy) of New Castle, Kentucky and Jerry Watson (wife Wilma) of Mason, Ohio; son Robert Mayer of Middletown, Ohio; son Carl Mayer of Houston, Texas; daughter Susan Tressler of Franklin, Ohio; son Anthony Mayer (girlfriend Debbie Smith) of Franklin, Ohio; step-daughter Pam Setty of West Carrolton, Ohio; grandsons Christopher Tressler, Gary Shaw, Shane Mayer, Jonathan Mayer, Levi Mayer and grand-daughters Hannah Mayer and Gina Mayer; one great-granddaughter Isabella Shaw and many nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

Evelyn traveled to Ohio by herself when she was 16 years old to live with her uncle. She arrived via train at the Cincinnati Union Terminal in 1938. She worked at National Distillers and Formica in Cincinnati. She also ran a restaurant in the Lockland area with her first husband Ernest Mayer. Evelyn was a great cook and loved to garden. She adored her family and never let anyone leave the house without saying, "May the good Lord watch over you and bless you." Our dear mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend will be missed but we all know the Lord has her by his side and we have an angel watching over us.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin) Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
